Just accepted a position at US DOT (1200 NJ Ave SE) and will work from 9:00 to 5:30...any advice from and to Rt 17 will help. Thanks in advance. : )

Monty,
I work right by there. When I used to slug, I would get let off at the pentagon and the take the yellow line to L'efant and the green lineto the navy yard stop. The exit is right in front of your building. total time for me from 234 to my seat was generally 50 minutes.

A lot of people go up to 610/Mine Rd and slug from there to the Navy Yard. We have an email group for rides to Mine Rd in the afternoons from the Navy Yard area. Let me know if you're interested.
