muschi - I just have to say your post was very funny! This thread did seem to turn into a bickering-match. I laughed out-loud when I read what you wrote - and some may think I'm sad, but found it funny enough even to pass on to my co-workers! hahaha!

The Parkinson's comment aside --- to minimize Katie's complaint by saying that there are worse things in life is something non-thinking people say when someone voices their beef. It is not appropriate nor relevant to the issue at hand.

ktzmom - I wasn't comparing a fatal accident with a ride from a bad driver! I was stating that fumes and smoke from the fire had been sucked into the nearby air intake vents at the Pentagon and the whole building reeked of gas. I'm sorry your hyper-sensitity interpreted what I wrote as making light of Parkinson's or a traffic fatality.

You're right, Rob. Don't quite see how the "could be worse" comments apply to a story about how we tend to watch out for certain cars, rather than the person behind the wheel, and then feel stupid.
