James Carville and Pat Buchanan Kick-Off Gevalia Kaffe and Commuter Connections’ Campaign to Promote Ridesharing WHO: James Carville Pat Buchanan Representatives from Gevalia Kaffe and Commuter Connections WHAT: James Carville and Pat Buchanan will carpool together from the Loudoun County, Virginia Park and Ride to Washington, D.C. to help launch Gevalia Kaffe and Commuter Connections’ campaign to heighten awareness for ridesharing in the Washington Metropolitan Region. WHERE: Park and Ride Location in Loudoun County, Virginia Dulles North Transit Center at Route 634 & Route 606, near the Dulles Greenway WHEN: Wednesday, April 20, 2005 at 7:00 a.m. Carville and Buchanan carpooling? These two political rivals have agreed to commute together in an effort to encourage more D.C. residents to take advantage of the area’s rideshare options. No matter how much they disagree on politics, they would rather carpool than face the Washington traffic alone. Gevalia Kaffe, fine purveyor of European coffees, has partnered with Commuter Connections to increase awareness of its rideshare and Guaranteed Ride Home programs, encourage residents to try alternate forms of transportation such as carpooling, vanpooling, buses, Metrorail, and commuter trains and provide delicious tasting coffee for the morning commute. dickboyd@aol.com |
