   On snow emergency days the OmniRide will pick up at the lots and take you to the Springfield Metro station for free and pick you up in the evening there, also free of charge and take you back to the commuter lots.  However, you do have to pay for your metro ride.

When the snow gets deep enough Metro has announced it won't operate rail service on above ground lines. That includes Springfield.
