630 POLL

Hello,

Thank you to all of you that have responded to my poll. [;)] I have received interest in slugging for variety of times and destinations. I am very encouraged by the response I have received and believe that the slug-line at 630 will work!

Amazingly, everyday I encounter slugs who have no idea that we are starting a slug-line at 630 who are willing to give 630 a try. Thank you to all of you that have help to spread the word! Lets keep up the good work! Tonight I plan to put up big posters at the 610 lot advertising the 610 slug-line. I invite everyone to join me this week in passing out flyers and spreading the word. This is our last week before the line starts.

As the line gets started, it might be a good idea to bring a poster advertising your destination. *Especially when returning home in the evening from the Pentagon - you do not want to get confused with the 610 line. In addition, I promise you that when returning home from the Pentagon you are guarenteed a ride home - many people will do anything to avoid the congestion on 610 and 630 is a great alternative.

Also, when people see how successful the Route 630 line is, more will join. Please know that many people are afraid to give a new thing a try, but it will never work if people like you do not take the initiative to make it work. Also, I have spoke to VDOT and they are looking into expanding the 630 lot for future growth. I will keep you posted!
