Those working near China town, have you used the 3rd Street tunnel to reach 395S and head home, and if so, is it better or worse than going down 14th Street?
I work in China Town and ride with folks who work close by. On a recent holiday I drove in by myself and came upon signs for 395S via 3rd Street. I took that route home and it worked well, but maybe because it was a holiday. Before I suggest this to my carpool driver, I thought I'd see if anyone out there has used this alternate route home and if so, what's it like? Thanks. |

3rd Street tunnel is the best way to get to and from my workplace.
I'm halfway between the Chinatown and Judiciary Square stops. I don't think I'd wanna take F Street all the way to 14th Street. ------------------------- Times to beat: Horner Rd to/from Pentagon: 12 mins Without Slugs - 17 mins With slugs Dale City exit to/from 3rd St Tunnel, D.C. 18 mins (No slugs - Holiday) |
