Message Board Upgrades

Message Topic Search Topic Options Post Reply Create New Topic Printable Version Translate Topic

   The message board has been upgraded to help prevent spammers. Most people will not notice any change except that you may be required to answer a question during registion, to post a message, or email an individual. Basically, the answering of a question helps prevent the "automated" spammers who have software to register and then post a message automatically.

	In addition new software was installed to ban users by not only username but by IP address.

	I know this will not stop all the spam but hopefully it will make a difference.

	Your welcome. Actually, there is one function that is not working properly. To post or reply to a message, the user will have to answer the question. However, I am having some trouble with this part of the software. Hopefully, I will get that fixed but it seems as though the spam had dramatically decreased with the other upgrades!!!! YaaaaHOOOOO!
