Hello! Myself and one other rider leave Springfield M-F at 7:00. We are in desperate need of an additional rider to save our sanity.

We have tried slug lots (Daventry and Shell) to no avail. I'm hoping someone who lives in Springfield will see this and be open to a more coordinated ride to work in the morning. With HOV, I'd say we'd probably meet at around 7:20-7:30 in order to reach Rosslyn by 8:00. We leave in the afternoon at 4:00, but if your hours do not match up this can be a morning thing only.

We both work 1 block from the Rosslyn Metro - we also pass by the Pentagon. There is a bus to Georgetown by the Rosslyn Metro as well.

Thanks!

Kendl

[:)] You should try the Rolling Valley Mall or Sydenstricker P&R Lots. We have never had trouble getting Rosslyn or P'gon slugs at either of them. [:)]

Thank You for your help, sluDge!

So we arrived at the Sydenstricker lot this morning around 7:15. No parked cars in sight, no people waiting for rides. We waited for 10+ minutes at Etta street and drove back and forth a few minutes longer, thinking perhaps we were not at the right spot. No luck!

By the time we made it back to Old Keene Mill, it was already 7:30 so we were determined to make this work. Shell parking lot - we went in the wrong way (turned into the golf club) sat for a few minutes and realized it was not going to work like that (people would get in the correct line and we'd lose our place). Soo...to the Deventry line it is...

We ended up waiting 30min+ behind 4 other cars before finally we found our first slug.

Does it always take so long? Any tips?

Ahh..Thanks.

Sorry about the bad experience at Sydnestricker. [:(]
My experience has been that Sydenstricker is an early line that is probably busiest between 6 & 7 AM.

The Rolling Valley Mall P&R slug line seems to have riders waiting later (up until about 8:30 to 8:45 AM). [:)]
Give it a try, and let us know the results.
