I go to 14th and Constitution(RRB) and was wondering if there are drivers who pick up there to go farther into the city thank just the Pentagon. I currently slug from Bob which is a 15 minute drive....

Due to small size of the lot at Sydenstricker, there's only one slug line. Slugs there assume drivers will drop them off at the Pentagon UNLESS the driver announces or holds up a sign for a different destination. From my experience there, the different destinations are usually Crystal City, Rosslyn, and Navy Yard. I have not heard or seen a driver looking for downtown DC slugs at Sydenstricker (Anyone else using Sydenstricker know?). One alternative for you to consider is the Rolling Valley Mall commuter lot where it seems many drivers pick up slugs for downtown locations. Hope this info helps. [:)]

I have been to Rolling Valley, but actually Bobs is closer to home (Lorton). Lorton has 2 slug locations, including a new one...but the same problem exists...drivers only go to the Pentagon! [:(]

ventana, I go up 14th in the morning (and live close to Sydenstricker). What time do you need to be picked up in the morning?
