Does anyone know of any good resources (bulletin boards, discussion forums) for DC commuting moms (or moms-to-be)? I commute from Spotsylvania to DC and I'm trying to figure out my childcare options. I know I must not be the only person in this situation. Any ideas? Thank you!

My wife and I both commute from Orange County. We have been using MinnieLand (Salem Church Road) because they open at 0530 and close at 7pm. We have been using them since our Daughter was 10 months old, now 5 1/2.Feel free to email me with any questions..

Cats- As a couple who commutes to DC from the 610 area that is hoping to start a family soon, I have looked into this. Many daycare facilities have early AM and later PM hours for parents who are military/commute to DC. Take some time to shop around your local area...you'll find a place. Good luck!

P.S. I even found one place that has "mommy cam", a live internet feed that is set up at your childs crib, so you can check on your child via your work computer.
