The police will be closing roads around the World Bank/IMF buildings. Here is what building management sent to the tenants:

DC Metro Police have better information listed on their site noted below -- since Penn Ave will be closed over the weekend, access to the bldg garage is also restricted.

The Fall World Bank/International Monetary Fund (IMF) meetings will be held in Washington, D.C., Friday, Oct. 19, through Monday, Oct. 22. The addition of Monday to the main meeting schedule will complicate the impacts we will experience this time. Demonstrators are anticipated to be more active than at the past couple of IMF-WB Meetings. As such, there will be a large and visible police presence during the meetings.

Demonstrators are expected to march early Saturday afternoon, Oct. 20, from Franklin Park to Murrow Park. The limits described below will be in effect from after evening rush hour on Friday, Oct. 19, (8 pm) until after evening rush hour on Monday, Oct. 22.

PEDESTRIAN ACCESS AND ROAD CLOSURES

The pedestrian limits (inner perimeter) will be bounded by the eastern edge of 20th Street, the southern edge of Pennsylvania Avenue, the western edge of 18th Street, and the northern edge of G Street. No vehicles will be permitted into the following areas:

* 20th Street from Pennsylvania Avenue south to just north of Francis Scott Key Hall. (This will affect the underground parking for 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue.)
* 19th Street from Pennsylvania Avenue south to about 200 feet north of F Street.
* 18th Street from Pennsylvania Avenue south to about 200 feet north of F Street.
* H Street from the Blue Light Station east of the Media and Public Affairs Building east to Pennsylvania Avenue.
* G Street from 20th Street east to 17th Street.
* Pennsylvania Avenue from 20th to 17th Streets on Saturday, Oct. 20, and Sunday, Oct. 21.

No trucks or buses will be allowed into the area bounded by the eastern edge of 21st Street (from Eye Street at Pennsylvania Avenue to E Street, the northern edge of E Street (from 21st to 17th Streets), all of 17th Street (from E to Eye Streets), and the southern edge of Eye Street (from 17th to 21st Streets).
Deliveries to anything inside that area need to be made before the close of business on Friday, Oct. 19, and cannot be made again until after evening rush hour on Monday, Oct. 22.

Going to be a very challenging commute for the Memorial Bridge drivers/riders on Monday.
