Channel 7 has had 2 segments on their morning news show about slugging. Yesterday was basically an intro, this AM it was about safety.

They also mentioned this site on the air and they have a link on their website.

It's nice to have the exposure as it might get new slugs and drivers into the "system". Too bad the forums plus the info about slug line locations weren't available yesterday. Oh yeah, and anyone new can only post questions between 8 and 5.

Watch out, DC2 - Don't get critical of Bob now. He'll call you a troll and delete your post because you don't agree with the way he monitors this board.

It's too bad that some of us who have been on this board longer than he has are now being called "trolls" and having our posts deleted because we simply voice our opinions and want the board open to all at all times in order to benefit the slugging community.

I saw this segment last week. I had hoped they would discuss the addition of the toll lanes to HOV and how this is going to impact the slug system.
