Starting April 1:
sluggers who ride from the Herndon/Monroe bus transfer station to Downtown D.C. will have a pickup point for a reverse commute. Pickup will be curbside at the US Post Office, 1750 Pennsylvania Ave. NW (2 blks S of Farragut W Metro), 4:45-5:30 p.m., Mon.-Fri.
As a reminder, there is a well established slug line from Herndon-Monroe Park and Ride Lot to Rosslyn and Downtown DC in the morning.

Just out of curiousity -- how active is this route? I am going to try to catch it starting tomorrow, and wanted to make sure that there are drivers still picking up from this location.

FYI -- I was there yesterday, and there were no sluggers or drivers.

The information posted on the website about Reverse commute to Herndon Monroe is incorrect. I have been at the Post Office at 1750 Pennsylvania avenue twice and have found no drivers or sluggers. Please stop providing incorrect rather false information.

Can anyone confirm whether or not they wait for rides back to Herndon at this location?
I drove by twice and didn't see anyone but maybe I don't know what to look for.
I'm willing to take the initiative and look for a ride/riders if anyone can reply that there is interest.

A great place for a reverse commute slug line to the Herndon/Monroe P&R would be at 19th & F St NW.
There is already a slug line there (listed on this site) that goes to Springfield but it could just as easily be used for our purposes.
After picking up, drivers could take a right onto E Street and then get directly onto I-66W.
So, it looks like we just need some pioneers to start it up.
