On 2 Mar 03 it was discovered that files within the Message Board database had been corrupted which caused the "unterminated string" error. Although some of the data was recovered, most of the postings for the month of February were lost. I am very sorry that all the great postings and comments are lost. I will continue to attempt to extract the comments but it doesn't look good...

The information saved was:
1) User and passwords
2) Lost and Found
3) Classified Ads
4) Ratings of lines

Very sorry. I backup the database weekly but the last data saved without corrupted files was 25 Jan 03.

Admin,

Thanks for your efforts despite what happened. If a post was important to someone, I'm sure they'll post it again. So, don't worry about it. This forum is such a nice way to inform others, vent frustrations, share ideas, or express anything -- thank you for keeping it going. This forum is not required to keep the slugging system alive, it just nicely complements the slugging system.
