I am a new slugger and I am looking for an afternoon slug to Rt 17 from Crystal City South. Is this possible?

Sorry, no. You have to go to the Pentagon. You can Take the #3 bus if you have the right IDs. You can get rides to 610 from CC if you want to slug from there.
