Drivers, since you have made the choice to drive people in your vehicle, can you please make sure your vehicle is clean? It does not have to be pristine, but I do expect to get out of your vehicle without having your pet's hair all over me. I also would like to avoid sitting on Cheerios, or kicking bottles and wrappers out of the way on your floor.
Lastly, it would also be nice to be informed if the driver is a smoker. It is often too late to tell until after you've clicked the seatbelt, and the driver has pulled off. I will gladly wait for the next driver and give my seat up for someone who doesn't mind the smell. But for non-smokers, it makes most of us gag.
