Springfield Plaza Lot Closure

Look, I live in north Springfield and I'm tired of riding on 395.
I try to explain to the driver that Franconia rd is much quicker, but he just tells me to sit back and relax.

I'm going to bring a pie to throw in his face next time he takes forever getting me home.

I would think that the property owners would see the commuter parking as a source of extra revenue for their vendors. I certainly do - when I get there in the evening, I do my household shopping at Kmart, etc. Apparently, they don't see that.

There are two property owners in that area: (1) Rappaport Companies - on the Giant's (West) Side and (2) A.J. Dwoskin & Associates, Inc.- on the Kmart (North and East) side. Only the the property owner on the Kmart side did not renew the commuter parking:

It looks like we're only losing 75 parking space on the north side (near KMart) and the 250+ on the south side near the bank is still available.
