Description: One of the few slug-only lines in DC. Most slug lines along 14th Street are co-located with the bus stops, making it difficult to distinguish who is a slug and who isn’t. This line, however ,is well established and is located in front of the Starbucks and the Cellular One office on the west side of 14th Street. There are actually two slug lines, side by side, at 14th & NY. Starting from the north, the first slug line services Horner Road, Potomac Mills, Northgate and the Fire Station. The second is for Old Hechinger’s, Tackett’s Mill, and sometimes Dillingham. Occasionally rides are offered for destinations in Manassas and points along Route 1 but there isn’t a slug line for these areas.  *UPDATE -- The slug line and bus line are actually the same line.  Those tired of waited for a ride can simply catch the bus or vice-versa!

Best Hours: 4:00 - 5:00 p.m.

This line has sluggers starting as early as 3:30 p.m. and as late as 6:00 p.m.

Drivers: Drivers can only pick up heading south on 14th Street.
