UPDATE:
this location has been fenced off forcing the slug line to move to the
Circuit City parking lot. Fairfax County, who has been very
supportive of slugging in the past is working to resolve the
problem. As soon as information is available, information will be
posted on the website and distributed via the Slug-Lines.com
Newsletter.
Description:
This location has undergone the test of time. Although the construction
of the "Mixing Bowl" disrupted this line for a short time, it is
currently in full operation. Because of some of the
changes there
are a few names to describe this location (Bob's, Springfield Plaza, Long
John Silvers, Chi Chi's). All names are actually
the same slug line. There are two slug lines that operate out of the old
parking lot of Long John Silver’s. Primarily for L’Enfant Plaza and
14th street, Line #1 is square in the middle of the parking lot on the
west side. For riders going to the 18th Street locations (sometimes called
Memorial Bridge), Line #2 forms closer to the edge of the restaurant in
the same parking lot.

Drivers: From Old Keene Mill Road heading
East, drivers pull into the old Long John Silvers and circle
around the back side.
Parking: Commuter lot next to K-Mart
approx. 155 spaces. The commuter lot is located across the street
from the slug lines between the First Union Bank and K-Mart.
Commuter lot normally fills by 7:30 or 8:00 a.m. Slug
still park in the commuter lot and walk across Old Keene Mill Road
to the slug line in LJS parking lot.

Connector route numbers are 110, 111, 204., Metro Bus 18A, B, E,
F,G, H, J, KL, P, R
Returning PM Slug Lines: Pentagon, 14th &
NY, Commerce Building, L’Enfant
Plaza.
